COVID-19: Nigeria Records 452 New Cases, Total Infections Exceed 21,000

Nigeria recorded 452 new cases of coronavirus on Tuesday, bringing the country’s tally of confirmed infections to 21, 371.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) disclosed this via a Tweet late Tuesday.

NCDC also announced eight new deaths, bringing the total number of fatalities recorded from the virus to 533.

The health agency said the 452 new cases were reported in 13 states and the FCT, with Lagos topping the chart having recorded 209 new infections.

So far, 21,371 cases have been confirmed in Nigeria. While 7,338 persons have recovered from the virus, a total of 533 deaths have been recorded.
