Job Description

The Sector Head aligns business objectives with employees and management in designated organizations and develop and articulate solutions based on customers’ strategic business and technical requirements ascertained from working with multiple business units across the customer's organization. The Sector Head reports directly to the Head of Outsourcing.

Responsibilities

· Support HRBP and the wider team in ensuring delivery of HR elements of organisational and cultural change activities.
· To drive the implementation of core HR processes across the business ensuring correct governance and alignment to business goals and Sector timelines.
· To ensure that effective staffing strategies and plans are in place for the business to provide the right skills and competencies to support the client’s business needs.
· To coach HRBP on good behavioral practice and performance improvement.
· Provides a focus for SLA management and customer satisfaction across the Sector. Ensure the information systems and the review structure for SLAs and client satisfaction are in place and effectively used.
· To contribute to the development of meaningful HR Strategy, plans and deliverables within the Outsourcing sector.
· Provide a focus for customer escalation and satisfaction across the Sector
· Excellent Communications skills across all levels from senior executives to operational staff, building relationships with all key business owners/representatives
· Effective financial management to ensure budget plans are met/exceeded, costs are controlled and constantly assessed
· Provides leadership and support for new business opportunities. Takes an active role in bids and supports the transition and implementation of new business (including new service offers)
· Leads, motivates, mentors and develops their teams directly and/or indirectly to build business capability. Ensures high calibre people are in the right roles, continuously improving the calibre of people through selection and development activity
· Maximizes account growth opportunities.

Requirements

Education (essential/desirable)
• B.Sc./HND in related field.
• Minimum of Six (6) years HR Generalist experience.
• Membership with HR Professional bodies will be an added advantage.

Skills (essential /desirable)
· A good operational knowledge of HR practices and experience in linking HR systems, technology and processes together – ideally business process knowledge
· Logical, analytical thinking with the ability to balance/articulate the bigger picture ·           Experience of dealing with a diverse range of stakeholders – influencing effectively
· Project management and consulting skills underpinned by strong intellect and analytical capability · A relationship builder, with the ability to influence different key stakeholders with different priorities/requirements
· Ideally some experience in a project management or centralized HR services environment ·          

Negotiation and influencing skills

· Excellent communicator at all levels   Competencies Experience in managing HR Function across multi sites and geographical areas Experience in managing high performing HR teams Strong people management and leadership skills Able to influence and educate Customers to ensure a best practice approach to their Document Management Thorough understanding of customer’s business and market sector and able to use that knowledge to anticipate how services need to evolve to meet customer requirements Excellent communicator at all levels
